Extra Officers At Greenwich HS After 'Disturbing Message' Found, Police Say

Extra officers have been assigned to a Fairfield County high school after a "disturbing message" was discovered.

The message was discovered on the wall of the girl's bathroom at Greenwich High School around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9.

According to Captain Mark Zuccerella, of the Greenwich Police, two patrol officers have been assigned to assist the School Resource Officers with assessing the situation.

"At the moment, it has been determined there is no imminent threat," Zuccerella said.

The school has not been put on lockdown.
